Robert Kakaygeesick is the great-grandson of John Kakaygeesick, the respected and influential medicine man of the Chippewas, who lived to be 124.
The style of drawing that Robert has developed is a fascinating one, and involves men, animals and birds that depict “Man and the spirits represented in him”. As his medium he uses watercolors, acrylics, pastels, tempera, charcoal, pen and ink.
Robert’s one-man shows have been held in every major city from Vancouver to Toronto. His work is internationally recognized with many of his pieces in private and corporate collections.
